Digital Desk: Tomorrow marks the last total lunar eclipse of 2022. It will begin at 5:32 PM on November 8 and end at 6.18 PM. It will be visible only from the east, whereas the partial eclipse will be visible from most of India. On November 8, a lunar eclipse can be seen in Kolkata, Siliguri, Patna, Ranchi, and Guwahati.
Asia, Australia, North America, parts of northern and eastern Europe, and the majority of South America will be able to see the second total lunar eclipse of 2022. The total lunar eclipse will last for about three years. On March 14, 2025, there will be another total lunar eclipse.
The beginning of the partial and total eclipse will not be visible from any location in India because it will have occurred before the moonrise in India. The end of the eclipse's full and partial phases will be visible from eastern parts of the country such as Guwahati and Arunachal Pradesh, where the duration from moonrise to the end of the full phase will be 38 minutes.
The rest of the country will only see the end of the partial phase. The time between the moon rising in Kolkata and the end of the total eclipse will be 20 minutes. In Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore, the moon will rise after the full phase has ended.
