Digital Desk: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Tekeri Majuli village, Tinsukia, where a teenage boy was found dead under highly suspicious circumstances.
The deceased, identified as Milanjyoti Bora, was discovered hanging inside a room.
According to reports, Milanjyoti had left his residence the previous night to participate in a Husori (Bihu performance).
His body was discovered by local residents the following day, leading to allegations that he was murdered and his body subsequently hanged to stage a suicide.
The Pengeri Police has arrived at the scene and launched a formal investigation.
Five youths have already been detained for questioning in connection with the case.
Family members of the deceased alleged that Milanjyoti had been involved in ongoing disputes with the suspects over the past few days.
Authorities are currently awaiting post-mortem results to clarify the exact cause of death.
