Morigaon: While the state is drenched in the festivities of Magh Bihu, an accident on the night of Uruka at Morigaon’s Jorabari spread sensation in the area after a TATA vehicle and a biker came head on.

The incident took place at the intervening crossroads connecting Nagaon with Morigaon at around 10 pm at night. The biker identified as Akash Das, died on the spot, while the TATA mobile vehicle burst into flames soon after the head on collision, Fire tenders reached the spot after being intimated by the locals, who somehow managed to bring down the fire.

The locals conjectured heavy fog to be the reason behind the head on collision of the two vehicles in the night time. The deceased Akash Das, hailed from Kumargaon in Morigaon.
