Tragic Accident on Lahowal Bypass: One Dead, Two Women Seriously Injured

Authorities are currently investigating the matter, and further action will be taken based on the findings

Digital Desk: A gruesome road accident happened today on the Lahowal Bypass due to light rain and slippery conditions. A Mahindra XUV of registration number AS 04AG 0475 hit a TVS Jupiter scooter (AS 06AN 4246), causing a tragic collision. The vehicle that was speeding hit the scooter that was carrying a woman, who died instantly, and two women sustained severe injuries.

The man who died in the accident has been identified as Likheswar Gogoi, who hails from Nahorsaku village in Lahowal. The local Lahowal police went to the spot quickly and transferred the injured women to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH)  for emergency treatment.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the driver lost control due to the driver losing control in the rain-soaked conditions. Authorities are currently probing the issue and further action will be taken based on the findings.
