Digital desk: A shocking incident occurred as the tragic demise of a first-year Higher Secondary student of Cotton College. The young student, residing in Uzan Bazar under the care of a private paying guest, met an untimely end on Tuesday morning when she fell from the second floor, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions.

The incident unfolded at 9:30 am on Tuesday when the student fell from the second floor. 

Despite efforts to stabilize her, she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday while undergoing treatment at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital, leaving the community mourning the loss of a promising young life.

As investigations into the tragic incident unfold, authorities remain tight-lipped about the precise circumstances leading to the student's fatal fall. 

Speculations abound, with uncertainties surrounding whether the fall was a result of a deliberate act, an accident, or a tragic choice made by the student. 

The exact cause of her death remains veiled until the completion of the post-mortem examination and thorough police scrutiny.

The deceased student, whose identity is being withheld at this time, had been a resident of the paying guest for the past 6-7 months, adding layers of complexity to the ongoing investigation.
