Two dead, and two were injured after a devastating incident.
Digital Desk: In a tragic incident on Diwali night two youths died after a head-on head collision of two Scorpios in Khanapara. The deceased were Deepat Dey (22) and Konamika Narjaree (19), reportedly the girl was an undergraduate student from Guwahati University (GU).
The accident took place during night hours when a white Scorpio tried to make a U-turn and collided with a speeding black Scorpio. The impact left the black Scorpio to then crash into the footbridge which led to the death of the two youths and the third one being badly injured.
Two out of four were injured including the driver of the white Scorpio and were immediately taken to Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for emergency treatment. According to the locals, the crash was horrific as it led to a devastating condition of the black speeding Scorpio and they were suspected to be intoxicated.
