Digital Desk: The family of television star Sheezan Khan held a press conference on Monday to address the claims against the actor in the Tunisha Sharma suicide case. Sheezan Khan’s lawyer raised several questions about the actress’ family.
Sheezan Khan's lawyer claimed that "Tunisha's so-called uncle Pawan Sharma was her former manager, he was fired 4 years ago since he used to interfere a lot and behave rudely with her."
"Tunisha and Sanjeev Kaushal (an uncle in Chandigarh) had terrible relations. Tunisha's money was formerly managed by Sanjeev Kaushal and her mother, Vanita. Tunisha often begged her mother for her own money," he added.
He further said, "Tunisha used to panic a lot when she heard the name, Sanjeev Kaushal. Tunisha's mother broke her phone and attempted to strangle her at the request of Sanjeev Kaushal. Sanjeev Kaushal and Tunisha's mother used to have total control over Tunisha's life."
Meanwhile, advocate Shailendra Mishra, the lawyer for TV actor Tunisha Sharma's death accused Sheezan Khan, stated on Saturday that his client (Sheezan) is innocent and that he believes in the judicial process. "Sheezan Khan met his family before being presented to the Vasai court. He spoke with us and expressed his confidence in the legal system," Advocate Mishra told ANI while walking out of Vasai court on Saturday.
"I have complete faith in the legal system. I'm totally innocent, Satyamev Jayate," Sheezan’s lawyer quoted Sheezan as saying. According to Mishra, they will file their first bail application in connection with the case in court on Monday. "We applied for some certified documents related to the case. It'll be okay if we get it by today. If not, we'll submit the first bail plea on Monday," advocate Shailendra Mishra told ANI.
For the uninitiated, the Vasai court sent accused Sheezan Khan to 14-day judicial custody. After his police custody ended on Saturday, the Waliv police produced the 28-year-old actor in court.
