Digital Desk: Popular television actor Tejasswi Prakash won the title of Bigg Boss 15 this year. The finale, which aired on Sunday on ColorsTV, had participants Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Pratik Sehajpal, Shamita Shetty, and Nishant Bhat as the top five competitors. TV actor Tejasswi won the final tag and took home Rs. 40 lakh cash prize. She took the elegant trophy after Bollywood star Salman Khan, the show's host, declared that Tejasswi won the highest number of votes. This win has paved another way for the television actor. Tejasswi was even introduced as the new face of the hit mystical series, Naagin. While in the Bigg Boss 15 house, Tejasswi earned recognition for her straightforward nature and the bravery to understand her beliefs. Her fans loved her association with Karan Kundrra and offered them the title 'TejRan.'  All top five participants in the finale were granted a suitcase with the price of money worth ₹10 lakh. Nishant Bhatopted to step out of the show with the cash amount and quit the race to the winner's award. Khan stated Nishant took the right decision to step out with ₹ ten lakhs. Salman also indicated that Nishant did not obtain sufficient votes to become the show's champion. Moreover, Salman Khan also congratulated the newly married couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. Salman stated, "Katrina, Shaadi Mubarak ho (Katrina, congratulations)." Actor Shehnaaz Gill was also a guest at the show. This finale was special for her after the sudden demise of Sidharat Skhula, the former winner of Big Boss 14.
