Armed groups opened fire on a village at Narayansena, which is under the authority of the Moirang police station...

Digital Desk: As many as two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in an attack by suspected Kuki militants in the Naransena area of Manipur. 

According to the authorities, the attack began in the area at midnight and lasted till 2:15 in the morning. 

The personnel are from the 128 Battalion of the CRPF, which is deployed in the state's Bishnupur district's Naransena area.

According to sources, armed groups opened fire on a village at Narayansena, which is under the authority of the Moirang police station in the Bishnupur District, on April 27, at around 00:45. 

The explosive, fired by the armed groups, detonated inside the B/128 Bn CRPF outpost in Narayansena. 

Additionally, four personnel were injured in the explosion: Insp/Gd Jadav Das, SI/GD N Sarkar, HC/GD Arup Saini, and CT/GD Aftab Hussain. SI/GD N Sarkar and HC/GD Arup Saini passed away as a result of their injuries.
