Guwahati: A fatal accident took place in Amingaon at the Saraighat Bridge, when a swift car hit the railings of the Saraighat Bridge and fell down 50 ft below. There were two occupants inside the car at the time of the accident.
The accident took place early this morning. The deceased have been identified as Rumiza Begum and Fakrul Hussain. Both are residents of Sipajhar, Assam.
The vehicle bore the registration number AS 01 BF 0380. Meanwhile, the Guwahati Police reached the incident spot to investigate the matter.
