These two short films were screened at marvelous poet Kamalakanta Bhattacharya auditorium in Vishwanath college in association with the NSS group and Vishwanath district administration

Both the short films, ‘ Ripple of Silence and ‘ old man’s river “are directed by Gautam Bora.

Notably, 'Ripple of Silence' is a documentary based on the life of literary awardee and poet Bajendra Kumar Brahma.

On the other hand, ‘Old man's river’ is a  short film based on the ancient river the Brahmaputra and has a connection with the life of ancient man ‘Kurak Pegu’.

 The film is attended by the director of the two films Gautam Bora, Biswajit Saikia from the District Administration, Dr. Chintamani Sharma, Principal of Vishwanath College, Noted Director-Actor Jyoti Bhuyan, Vishwanath College Lecturer Dr. Nrippen Kumar Goswami along with members of the NSS group along with many other dignitaries.
