Digital Desk: The Covid variant, Omicron's vaccination has been approved in Britain for the first time. According to Reuters, the UK pharmaceutical authority (MHRA) has authorised Moderna's "bivalent" vaccination as a booster shot for adults.

Clinical trial data that indicated the booster elicited "a significant immune response" against both Omicron (BA.1) and the original 2020 virus, according to the EPA, served as the foundation for its conclusion.
