This is Rishi Sunak's first official visit to India after becoming Prime Minister of the UK...

Digital Desk: UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak paid a visit to the Akshardham Temple in Delhi today with his wife Akshata Murty. Mr. Sunak is in Delhi for the two-day G20 Summit, where world leaders are debating some of the world's most serious challenges.

This is Rishi Sunak's first official visit to India after becoming Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

It's been informed that the security has been beefed up both inside and outside the shrine.

Rishi Sunak, who is extremely proud of his Hindu genealogy, expressed excitement about finding the time to visit the Akshardham temple in India. He also stated that he and his wife Akshata intend to return to several of their favourite Delhi restaurants.

Mr Sunak stated that he has "enormous respect" for Prime Minister Modi and is eager to assist him in making the G20 a huge success.

PM Modi visited Mr Sunak yesterday on the margins of the G20 Summit and discussed ways to strengthen economic ties and encourage investment.
