Digital Desk: Due to the conflict that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced, Ukraine has been wracked by a serious problem. Many people were evacuated as a result of military operations that Putin ordered against Ukraine on February 24.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of war-torn Ukraine emerged as a ray of hope for his people and travelled to the scene to assess and improve the situation. The people of his nation and even other countries were won over by his valiant strategies.

Zelenskyy, however, is becoming the target of vicious internet trolling after 4 months of fighting. He and his wife, the First Lady Olena Zelenska, appeared on a digital cover for Vogue, and the images have since gone viral online.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife, Olena Zelenska posed for a Vogue picture shoot. The couple was seen across from a table holding hands and giving each other a tender embrace. Olena was photographed beside soldiers and tankers to draw attention to the turmoil in Ukraine.

Celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz took the pictures. Olena Zelenska posted this on her official social media accounts.

However, the photoshoot drew a lot of flak from netizens online. While some users were angry and disgusted, others were simply shocked and bewildered.

"I can’t believe Zelenskyy is doing Vogue photoshoots while Russia is bombing his country. This is so unserious," a user wrote.

“ The country is going through a war. Zelenskyy- Maybe a Vogue photoshoot with my wife could help,” another user said.
