Digital Desk: On Wednesday, social media sensation Urfi Javed wished her mother a happy birthday and shared an adorable picture. She is seen wearing a white top and jeans, twinned with her mother. She captioned the image, "Happy birthday, mummy."
Urfi has been the internet community's favoured topic since last year. She receives a lot of trolling online, but she also has a following. A particular group of users supports her original ideas. Ab to Stop kar do ye Jahalat, ramzan ka pak mahina chal raha hai (Stop this stupidity Ramzan's is going on)," a user wrote. One more user expressed their disdain by writing, "Abh toilet paper bhii (now with toilet paper as well)."
"Hahaha.....that's the talent no one can have except for urf7i," a netizen wrote. "I want to see mum doing a guest appearance," another internet user stated. Another user on the internet made fun of the situation by saying, "Iske upar koi pani dal do (someone pours water on it)."
Urfi had talked openly about the stage of her career with the Hindustan Times. Uorfi responded, "Hanging out with famous people isn't success or it does not translate into work," when asked if she had finally arrived. You can only find employment through hard labour. "No designers would give me clothes, so I started making my own," recalled Urfi at one point. Urfi said, remembering her history, "I wasn't a big name back then. I had no idea what I was doing in detail. So how can anyone in my immediate vicinity trust me with their brand? They can now see my vision.
Even more, Urfi said she would wait until someone had established themselves in the field before working with them. "You can't take a chance when your name is on the line. I had no trouble getting costumes from them; it was Mujhe aise Koi Problem nahi hai (I had no trouble getting costumes from them). But I think I've made my point," Uorfi said.
