According to authorities, the 17-year-old girl was raped by her lover before being killed with an iron rod inserted into her private parts. The incident occurred in the Garhwa district of Jharkhand.

The incident took place in Ajni village on Sunday.
"The teenager had gone to meet the accused on Sunday night without informing her family. Her body was discovered on Monday morning "Santosh Kumar Ravi, SHO, stated.
According to the officer, a FIR has been filed against the accused in connection with the event.
Locals also went to the accused's home to look for him, but he was not found there.
According to the police, a search for the accused was ongoing based on his cell phone location.
