Golaghat: Two people were killed while five others received serious injuries after a vehicle carrying a marriage party including the groom crashed into a tree on Sunday night. The accident took place in Golaghat district wherein the vehicle carrying the groom’s party was heading to Golaghat from Sivasagar.

The marriage was held at Jhanji’s Food Villa in the Sivasagar district in Assam. The groom’s party was returning from the marriage to Golaghat when the accident happened.
The two deceased have been identified as Bipul Sharma and Mahendra Kalita.
