Digital Desk: Congress leader Salman Anees Soz on Thursday claimed that Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is acting according to the script provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the RSS.
Soz stated that Dhankar is assigned the task of using his official position to stoke fires that will strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and destroy Indian democracy.
"The Vice President of India is speaking from a script provided by Modi and the RSS. His task is to use his official position to stoke fires that will strengthen the BJP politically while decimating Indian democracy. This must be resisted," Salman Anees Soz tweeted.
Soz's statement came a day after Vice President Dhankhar questioned the historic 1973 Kesavananda Bharati case ruling that established the basic structure doctrine, saying it set a negative example and that if any authority disputes Parliament's capacity to modify the Constitution, it will be difficult to claim we are a democratic nation.
