Guwahati: Following the arrival of Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu at Guwahati on Sunday (October 3), a traffic advisory is issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Guwahati for various routes in the city on Saturday.
As per the official report, the National Highway 37 and 27 will remain close on October 3. All heavy traffic will remain close on both routes from 8 am to 9 pm.
Moreover, National Highway 37 and 27 will also remain close on October 4. All the heavy traffic will remain close from 5 am to 12 pm.

According to the official report, on October 3 commercial vehicles will not be allowed on several roads like DG Road, MG Road, FC Road, Taiyabulla Road, GNB Road and B. Barooah Road.
Additionally, the movement of commercial vehicles will remain close on Punjabari Road and GS Road.
The vehicles coming from Bharalumukh to Chandmari can move through the Jashwant road by HB road and NCB hall direction.
The vehicles going from Uzanbazar to Machkhowa can come from the DC court via the commissioner point.
Vehicles moving towards DC court can take the route towards MG road via HB road and JC road.
