Upon his arrival in Guwahati, Dhankhar will also make a visit to the Kamakhya Temple.

Digital Desk: India's Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will visit Assam.

During his visit to Assam, the Vice President will attend the 25th Convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, according to a statement from the Vice President's Secretariat on Sunday. He will engage in a conversation with IIT Guwahati students as well.

Upon his arrival in Guwahati, Dhankhar will also make a visit to the Kamakhya Temple.

In the 2024 QS World University Rankings, IIT Guwahati has earned a seat in the top 25% of institutions worldwide. In terms of overall rankings, the top institute came in at 364th rank overall and 7th place in India. The Institute has risen 20 spots in the world rankings and one spot in the Indian rankings as a result.
