Digital Desk: West Bengal is planning a cabinet overhaul after CM Mamata Banerjee's government was left without ministers owing to deaths and arrests. According to the announcement made by CM Mamata Banerjee on Monday, 4-5 new faces would be added to the cabinet on Wednesday.

Following Partha Chatterjee's arrest by the ED in connection with the WBSSC jobs scam, a top TMC politician and WB minister, has happened. Subrata Mukherjee and Sadhan Pande, two additional WB ministers, have just passed away. The new ministry is not intended to replace the current one, according to the CM.

"A number of them write frequently. We do not intend to disband the current ministry and start a new one. Yes, there will be a change in personnel. Sadhan Pande and Subrata Mukherjee lost as ministers. All their tasks must be completed because Partha is in prison. "Not something I could manage alone," she told the media.

In addition, Bengal, which previously had 23 districts, has 7 new districts that the CM has announced. Sunderban, Ichhemati, Ranaghat, Bishnupur, Jangipur, Behrampur, and one more district to be named in Basirhat are among the seven new districts, according to her.
