According to the principal of one of the schools where the inspection was conducted, the authorities discovered a condom in the backpack of a girl in Class 10. The teenager allegedly blamed her companions when questioned, according to the report. Almost 80% of the schools took part in the checking.

Digital Desk: Authorities carried out a surprise inspection and found that students had condoms, oral contraceptives, lighters, cigarettes, and whiteners in their bags. The items were found in the bag of students from Classes 8,9, and 10.

This surprise check was conducted in several schools throughout the city to prevent students from bringing their phones to class. The authorities received numerous complaints about students bringing cell phones to class, which led to the start of this exercise.

The Associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka (KAMS) requested that schools begin checking students' bags, according to the Deccan Herald.
According to a school principal, several schools requested parent-teacher conferences, and the parents who attended them "were equally shocked and informed us about sudden behavioural changes in children."

Counseling has been suggested for the students, and notices have been sent to the parents. The students have not been suspended by the schools. "Even though schools offer counselling, we asked parents to seek outside assistance for their children and offered leave for up to 10 days, "The teacher revealed to Deccan Herald.

A principal from one of the schools, where the checking was done, said the authorities found a condom in a Class-10 girl’s bag. According to the report, when the girl was questioned, she blamed her friends. Nearly 80% of schools participated in the checking.
