Alishah Parkar went on to say that his family also greets Dawood's wife on special occasions.

Digital Desk: Dawood Ibrahim, India's most wanted fugitive gangster, is in Karachi, according to his nephew Alishah Parkar, who stated before the Enforcement Directorate, boosting India's case that the neighbouring country embraces terrorists who have killed hundreds of Indians and caused chaos in the country.

Alishah Parkar went on to say that his family also greets Dawood's wife on special occasions.

Parkar told the financial investigation agency that Dawood Ibrahim left India around 1986. Dawood Ibrahim is also a United Nations designated global terrorist financier.

"My maternal uncle, Dawood Ibrahim, lived on the fourth floor of the Dambarwala building in south Mumbai until 1986.  I have heard from various sources and relatives that Dawood Ibrahim is in Karachi," Parkar said.

"I was not born when he moved to Karachi, and my family members nor I have maintained contact with him.  Mrs Mehjabeen Dawood Ibrahim - my aunt and maternal uncle - occasionally contacts my wife Ayesha and my sisters on Eid, Diwali, and other festive occasions," he added.

Notably, Dawood Ibrahim is wanted in India for several terror-related offences.
