Flax seeds are made out of nearly 29% carbs and 95% fiber, 18% protein, and 42% fat overall making it a great dietary food. Some of the major benefits of incorporating flax seeds into your diet are-

1. Reduce Weight: Flax seeds have a high content of fiber, which helps in lesser cravings. Research reportedly highlights that 30 grams of flax seed per day for 12 continuous weeks results in body weight reduction.

2. Better Heart Condition: The higher the amount of fiber and omega 3, the better the heart condition will be. The American Heart Association (AHA) recommended that Lignans, which are also fiber compounds, prevent cardiovascular diseases.

3. Lower Cholesterol: Flax seeds help lower cholesterol due to fiber and omega 3, which helps to reduce the cholesterol from the body in the liver.

4. Regulate Blood Sugar Level: Flax seeds are a good source of fiber, this fiber absorbs sugar from the blood hence decreasing the blood sugar level. It is a good source of food for diabetic people to regulate their sugar levels.
