Brussels: Social Media platforms are saturated with innumerable bizarre stories, and here is yet another tale from Belgium, that will surely amaze you. As per reports, a woman has been barred from entering the Antwerp Zoo in Belgium after she claimed that she is having an 'affair' with Chita, a Chimpanzee in the zoo.
In conversation with regional news channel ATV, Timmermans said: "I love that animal and he loves me. I haven't got anything else. Why do they want to take that away?"
She added, "We're having an affair, I'll just say. Other dozens of visitors are allowed to make contact. Then why not me?"
This outwardly bizarre story has amazed the animal keepers in the Zoo, urging them to stop this woman from making any further contact with the primate.
Chita, is a 38-year-old male chimpanzee, living in Antwerp Zoo, Belgium for the past four years.
