Following the incident, the criminals threw the youth in the early hours of Friday at Tinikonia in Tinsukia, Assam.
Digital Desk: In a sensational incident, a youth from Assam reportedly suffered serious injuries after being physically beaten by a group of unidentified miscreants in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh.
The youth was attacked near Soukham-Medu Road in Namsai by a three-person gang of unidentified miscreants who had arrived by train, reports claimed.
Following the incident, the criminals threw the youth in the early hours of Friday at Tinikonia in Tinsukia, Assam.
Locals informed the police after seeing the young person lying there in a critical state. When the police arrived on the scene, he was promptly admitted to the Tinsukia Civil Hospital.
The victim has been identified as Santosh Gogoi, a native of Sadiya.
It is to be noted a legal action has been initiated and further investigation into the matter is underway.
