Digital Desk: Zomato Ltd., an Indian food delivery service, on Thursday announced a reduced second-quarter loss thanks to a steady increase in online ordering.

According to the company's regulatory filing, the combined net loss for the three months ended September 30 was Rs 251 crore ($30.73 million), down from Rs 430 crore a year earlier.

Operating income increased from Rs. 1,024 crores to Rs. 1,661 crores.
