Digital desk: Renowned singer Zubeen Garg made a bold statement against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), igniting both controversy and applause from the audience. During his performance at the eight-day Golden Jubilee of the Regional Sri Sri Manasa Puja Festival in Muslimpur, Baxa district, Jubin Garg, known as the heartthrob of the youth, voiced his opposition to the CAA. In a powerful declaration on stage, he asserted, "I stand here, I don't even work. No one can become a minister or MLA without the people voting. I will not vote, and you will not vote either.

Zubeen Garg, with a career spanning three decades, emphasized his unwavering stance against the controversial legislation, stating, "CA cannot be enforced. I will not employ any Modi or Himanta Biswa Sarma and GP Singh. Modi is not worth it, brothers and sisters."

Zubeen Garg highlighted the disparity between his immunity as a performer and the potential consequences faced by others, declaring, "Director General of Police GP Singh can arrest someone at the hands of the police, but he cannot arrest me."

The singer's words resonated with the audience as he declared, "I am Tiger:Zubeen Garg. CA movement martyred five boys, and I will not let them die. GP Singh ordered police to kill me if I protest, but I will not force."
