Digital Desk: The Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui filed a defamation case against his estranged wife Aaliya aka Zainab Siddiqui and his brother Shamasuddin Siddiqui in the Bombay High Court, demanding Rs 100 crore in damages from them for allegedly making false and defamatory statements about him.
The case is expected to be heard by a single bench led by Justice Riyaz Chagla on March 30.
The actor, who is involved in a marital conflict with his former wife, asked the Bombay High Court to permanently stop Aaliya and his brother from saying anything that would defame him.
He also asked for written apologies from his ex-wife and brother.

According to the complaint, Nawazuddin Siddiqui selected Shamasuddin as his manager in 2008 and "blindly" allotted all financial responsibilities to him.
However, as per the complaint, Shamasuddin began defrauding and cheating Siddiqui and purchased properties with the actor's money.
It added that Shamasuddin encouraged Aaliya to submit a false case against Siddiqui after the actor learned about the fraud and raised questions.
The actor alleged that Aaliya and Shamsuddin took Rs 21 crore from him.
When Siddiqui requested the return of his properties, Shamasuddin and Aaliya joined together and started blackmailing the actor by posting "cheap videos and comments on social media," according to the complaint.
