    Digital Desk: On January 24, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will announce the official list of Oscar nominations in key categories for the 95th award season. Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams will host the nomination announcements. As in past years, all eyes will be on the nominations for Best Film, Best Actor (Male and Female), and Best Director.

    When will Oscar nominations for 2023 be revealed? 

    Nominations for the Academy Awards will be announced today, Tuesday, at 5:30 a.m. PST/8:30 a.m. EST. The time will be 7:00 p.m. in Indian Standard Time (IST).

    When is the Oscars ceremony in 2023? 

    The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards will be announced on January 24, with the ceremony taking place on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel will host the award presentation.

    This year's Academy Awards give India a lot to cheer for. The acclaimed documentary feature "All That Breathes," documentary short "The Elephant Whisperers," and "Naatu Naatu" – the song from period action smash "RRR" – have all made it to the 95th Academy Awards shortlist.

    Nominations for Best Picture are expected at the Oscars in 2023:

    "The Banshees of Inisherin," "Everything Everywhere All at Once," "The Fabelmans," "Top Gun: Maverick," "Tár," "Avatar: The Way of Water," and "Elvis" are among the ten films nominated for best picture.  Darren Aronofsky's "The Whale" and, possibly, Sarah Polley's "Women Talking," which received a SAG nomination for outstanding ensemble.  "Triangle of Sadness," "All Quiet on the Western Front," and "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" are competing for the final position.
