Digital Desk: After a string of flops, Bollywood is placing a large bet on Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham's "Pathan," which is scheduled to be release in theatres on January 25, 2023.
Advance bookings for the film began on January 20, and ticket prices for the highly anticipated film have soared. The Yash Raj Films banner movie was so popular that 50% of the tickets were sold within the first hour of advance bookings started in Kolkata. Evening shows in Delhi are selling for about Rs 2100 in select multiplexes, while morning shows are selling for as much as Rs 1000 in some theatres.
On the other hand, this film marks Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen, and it's also the fourth time he'll be working with Deepika Padukone, and the audience cherishes their sizzling chemistry.
Speaking about the film, Pathaan, which is directed by Siddharth Anand, is part of the YRF Spy Universe, which also includes the Tiger Series and War. Deepika Padukone plays the female lead, while John Abraham plays the antagonist. Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia also play important roles.
