Brahmastra also becomes the first Indian movie to ever win the box office in Australia, joining previous number one debuts from India, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, and New Zealand. Additionally, it debuted at number two in the USA and number three in Malaysia and the UK.

Digital Desk: At the weekend's international box office, Brahmastra ranked first. This is the third Indian film to top the world box office charts in the previous two years, making it the first time a Bollywood film has ever done so. Brahmastra was preceded by the Vijay-led films Master and S.S. This was accomplished by the NTR Jr. and Ram Charan-starring RRR films, both directed by Rajamouli.

A rough estimate of Brahmastra's global box office take was $26.50 million (Rs. 210 crores), of which $18 million came from India, $4.50 million from North America, and $4 million from other markets like Australia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, etc.

The movie now ranks above two other Asian movies that made it to the top three: the Chinese film "Give Me Five," which debuted at $21.50 million in China, and the Korean film "Confidential Assignment 2: International," which brought in $19.50 million in Korea.
