What are human rights?
Human rights are the fundamental rights and liberties that every person on the planet has from birth to death. Everyone is entitled to these rights, regardless of where they reside, what they believe, or how they live their lives. These fundamental rights cannot be taken away, although they may be restricted under certain conditions, such as when someone violates the law or for the sake of public safety. These ideals are legally defined and protected in every country.
10 Basic Human Rights:
1. The right to life
This right protects persons against being killed by anyone, including people and the government. As governments are accountable for protecting human rights, regulations must be enacted to preserve human life if it is threatened.

5. The right to asylum
This is a very old right, dating back to the beginning of time. The right to refuge now safeguards people fleeing violence in their own countries.
6. The right to marry and have family
According to this right, everybody who is of legal age has the freedom to marry and start a family regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. Both partners in the marriage must provide their full and complete approval. Nobody has the right to marry someone who does not want to marry.
7. The right to freedom of thought, religion, opinion, and expression
Everyone has the freedom to express their opinions, practice their faith, and change their minds. This is true for both individual and group practice.
8. The right to work
Several work-related issues are covered under this right. Everyone should have the right to work under decent working conditions and receive unemployment insurance. Individuals must also have the right to form and join labour unions, as well as get equal pay for equal effort.
9. The right to education
Many people think that the right to education should be a top priority for everyone in the world. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that all students in primary school are entitled to free education.
