Timing of the Lunar Eclipse (Chandra Grahan)
On Saturday (October 28th), the lunar eclipse will begin at roughly 11:31 PM in India. The lunar eclipse is expected to last 1 hour and 19 minutes on Sunday, October 29, from 1:05 AM to 2:24 AM.
During the lunar eclipse, the Moon will encounter the deeper, darker section of the Earth's shadow, known as the umbra, covering a portion of its surface around 1:05 AM on Sunday (Indian Standard Time - IST).
