Digital Desk: Trees and greenery brighten and beautify your surroundings. However, according to Vastu Shastra, there are several houseplants that purify the air and provide numerous benefits. Trees surrounding your home might also contribute to the happiness of your family. Some of the best plants in Vastu include money, snake, rubber, jasmine, and more. This article looks at some essential Vastu plants at home and their unique significance.
1. The Holy Tulsi Plant:
* This plant is one of the most beneficial and auspicious plants found in India, and it has been worshipped for centuries by Hindu sages as well as Hindu people.
* It has a mild aroma that relaxes the mind while also spreading serenity and happiness.
* It has antibacterial qualities that eliminate germs and bacteria, defending us against many diseases. Simply keeping it in your surroundings would be enough.
Direction: Place it in the center of the house, also known as the "Brahma Sthan" of the house. If this location is not possible, it could be kept in the house's north, northeast, or east direction so that morning sunlight reaches the plant. Avoid keeping it facing south, as this is considered unlucky and may promote the flow of negative energy.
2. Jasmine (Chameli) Plant:
This plant has beautiful little white flowers with a pleasant sweet fragrance. Its pleasant and fresh fragrance lifts the spirits and promotes a tranquil and harmonious atmosphere in the home.
Direction: Keep it in the North, North-East, or East direction of the house, so that it only receives morning and evening sunshine.
3. Money Plant
This plant is available in various varieties, but the ones with shaded leaves are considered more auspicious. Some of its benefits are:
* It purifies the air and releases a significant amount of oxygen.
* Brings luck and wealth.
* Attracts the blessings of Lord Ganesha and the planet Venus.
Direction: It should be placed in the southeast direction of the house or in the southeast corner of any room in such a way that it is out of the reach of small children.
4. Snake Plant
* The snake plant fills the atmosphere with oxygen and moisture thus improving air quality inside the house.
* It also promotes calm and happiness, making the surroundings more lovely and fresh.
Direction: Keep anywhere in the house where adequate daylight and not direct sunlight reaches.
