On Thursday, the global traffic-based technology company Tom Tom issued its index. It included information on 2022 traffic patterns in 389 cities throughout 56 countries.

Pune was ranked 6th, while Delhi was at 34th position. Similarly, Mumbai was ranked 47 with more than 21 minutes to travel 10 km.
Bengaluru is ranked fourth among cities in the research for wasted time caused by traffic, according to the findings. In the list of "Cities with the highest CO2 emissions per driven miles during rush hour," the city came in fifth.
According to the data, the average yearly CO2 emission for petrol cars in Bengaluru based on a six-mile roundtrip is 974 kg.
