Aero India, according to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, will catalyze the Indian aerospace industry's continued expansion and will help the nation achieve its goal of becoming self-sufficient in the production of weapons systems.
"I have faith that Bengaluru will become a major aerospace centre on the international stage. Our goal is to establish a thriving defence manufacturing industry, " he added.
Aero India's current iteration, according to Singh, will be significantly larger than any previous iterations.
