"Corruption, casteism, and communalism will have no place in our national life," he stated.
Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that by 2047, corruption, casteism, and communalism will no longer exist in national life and that the poor will completely win in the war against poverty.
"We already have democracy, demography, and diversity, and now a fourth D is getting added to its development," Prime Minister Modi said in an exclusive interview with PTI.
Prior to 2014, the country, according to the prime minister, had a number of unstable governments that struggled to accomplish much.
"But in recent years, people had provided a clear mandate, which had produced a stable government, predictable policies, and clarity in overall direction, "Modi, who is running for a third term as prime minister noted.
"I'm confident that by 2047, our nation will be a developed one.Even more inclusive and innovative growth will occur in our economy. The fight against poverty will be decisively won by our underprivileged population. The results in the social, health, and educational sectors will be among the best in the world."
"Corruption, casteism, and communalism will have no place in our national life," he stated.
He said that Indians would have lives on par with those of the best nations in the world, and "most importantly, we will achieve all of this while caring for both nature and culture."
He also mentioned how the world has taken notice of India's rapid and ongoing progress.
"Many countries have been closely following our growth story and they are convinced that this development is not a coincidence, but rather the outcome of a clear, action-oriented roadmap of Reform, Perform, and Transform," he said.
The prime minister discussed populism and irresponsible financial policies, as well as how they may produce electoral results in the short term but will come at a high social and economic cost in the long run, during his more than hour-long interview with PTI late last week.
India was one of the top economies in the world during a significant period of world history, but later, as a result of the effects of various types of colonisation, our worldwide footprint was diminished, he claimed.
"However, India is currently regaining ground. India is serious about doing business, as evidenced by the speed with which we rose five slots in less than a decade, from the 10th to the 5th largest economy," he added.
He stressed that the years up until 2047 are a "huge opportunity" and that Indians who are living in this time have a wonderful chance to build a foundation for development that will be remembered for the next 1,000 years!
"The nation is beginning to comprehend the gravity of this situation. This is the cause of the incredible growth you observe in many different fields. We are the third-largest startup ecosystem and have a century's worth of unicorns.
"The world over, our space sector's accomplishments are being praised. India is breaking all prior records in practically every global sporting event," he asserted.
With "such momentum, I am positive that we will be in the top 3 economies shortly," he stated, "as more universities enter the top rankings of the world every year."
He added that political stability is the reason for the recent nine years' introduction of several reforms in the economy, education, financial sector, banking, digitalization, welfare, inclusion, and social sector that have created a firm foundation, with growth coming as a byproduct naturally.
