Salman Khan and the suspects in the Moose Wala case are connected, according to a major revelation made by the Punjab Police

Desk: Punjab's top cop revealed on Sunday that one of the accused had conducted
a reconnaissance in Mumbai with the intention of targeting Bollywood actor
Salman Khan, shedding light on the connections between the Sidhu Moose Wala
killing case and threats received to him. Days after the politician-singer
Moose Wala was assassinated in Punjab's Mansa region in June, a threat letter
was addressed to Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan.

order to do the reconnaissance. At a press conference, Punjab director general
of police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav stated: "During the investigation, one of the
arrested accused - Kapil Pandit - revealed that he along with Sachin Bishnoi
and Santosh Yadav - had conducted a recce in Mumbai to target Salman Khan. We will
also interrogate them." He emphasised that gangsters Sampat Nehra and
Goldy Brar were also implicated in the Salman Khan conspiracy.

23 out of a possible 35 suspects have been detained thus far in the Sidhu Moose
Wala murder case. In an interview, he stated, "Two accused were
neutralised in an encounter, and so far 35 accused have been nominated."
He also shared that a Red Corner Notice had been issued by central authorities
through Interpol against mobster Goldy Brar. Six people have either not yet
been detained or are on the police's radar, while four of the alleged murderers
are abroad.

In a statement on Saturday, the Punjab Police described the
arrest of Deepak Mundi and his two friends, Kapil Pandit and Rajinder, as
"a huge breakthrough." They have all been placed on a six-day police
remand.

 A day after his protection was lowered, singer-politician
Sidhu Moose Wala was fatally murdered close to his residence in Punjab's Mansa
region.
