    Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) success in the upcoming North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) elections. 

    Speaking in the Diyungmukh constituency, CM Sarma asserted that the BJP is poised to win at least 25 out of the 28 constituencies in the council.

    Sarma highlighted the active involvement of BJP workers in campaign efforts, emphasizing his upcoming participation. He stated, "In the next three days, I too will be campaigning here. I believe this time we will win many seats. There are 28 seats; BJP will win more than 25 seats this time."

    The Chief Minister, who arrived in the Dima Hasao district for campaign activities, attended rallies in Diyungmukh, Garampani, and Dihangi constituencies on behalf of BJP candidates. He urged the party's candidates in the NCHAC to support Debolal Gorlosa as the chief executive member, promising substantial development in the Dima Hasao district.

    Sarma is actively accelerating the BJP's election efforts in Dima Hasao, with plans to participate in rallies at Laisong Hajadisa, Langting Wajaw, and Haflong over the next three days. The Chief Minister's optimism and commitment underscore the BJP's strategic focus on securing a significant majority in the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council elections.
