    Digital Desk: A minor girl was allegedly raped in Guwahati city of Assam on Wednesday.

    According to reports,  the incident occurred in the Sijubari area of the Hatigaon area of Guwahati.

    The survivor's family was renting a home on Khankah Road in Sijubari. Following the incident, they reported the incident to the Hatigaon Police Station.

    The police reacted soon after the complaint was made and detained the suspect, identified as Suku Ali.
