    Guwahati: Noonmati Widow's death exposes string of gruesome murders

    Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, a widowed woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in the Noonmati area of Guwahati.

    The deceased woman has been identified as Munmun Begum( 35). She was a resident of house number 115 in the Nizarapar locality where she lived with her two sons. Noonmati Police who is investigating the case are proceeding with the notion that this was a pre-planned cold-blooded murder.

    According to source, the woman's son saw his mother with blood coated on her body in the bedroom on Wednesday night.  He immediately informed the Noonmati police station and police started an investigation by looking at the CCTV footage of the residence in connection with the whole incident. 

    However,  the police have not been able to recover any clues so far. Though Noonmati police suspect that the woman was murdered in a planned manner.

    On the other hand,  the two sons of the deceased woman alleged that their mother had suffered head injuries after falling inside her room.

    It is to be noted that, earlier in 2005, the woman's husband Matleb Ali was stabbed to death by miscreants in the Bamunimaidam area of Guwahati.  In 2004, Matleb Ali's only brother Munna Ali was stabbed to death by a fisherman at Bamunimaidam Railway Colony Market. 

    Additionally, in  2006, househelp Swapnan Das was killed in the Bamunimaidam area. 

    Following these incidents, in 2007 the father of Matlab was killed by some miscreants and dumped his body on the railway line at Shantipur in Bharlumukh.

    Meanwhile, the deceased woman Munmun Begum was married for the second time after the death of her husband Matleb however, that did not last long and both parties separated after a while.

    The suspicious death of Munmun Begum will come to light after a proper investigation by the police.
