The scrapped ex-Air India aircraft has now become stranded beneath an overpass again...
Digital Desk: The 118-foot-long (scrapped ex-Air India 320 aircraft) that is being transported from Mumbai to Assam became stuck beneath the railway over-bridge in the Jalukbari area of Guwahati city at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday due to its height.
The scrapped ex-Air India 320 aircraft has now become stranded beneath an overpass again; the first one happened last week in Motihari, Bihar.
After nearly four hours of hard effort, the truck carrying the plane managed to reach the bottom of the railway over-bridge and drive to its target spot, thanks to the people and the Jalukbari police squad.
It should be noted that the 118-foot-long (scrapped ex-Air India 320 aircraft) has been transformed into a family restaurant and will soon open as the first in Northeast India in Bhatiapara in the historic Sivasagar district of Assam.
The aircraft was transported from Mumbai to Assam after having previously cost crores of rupees to purchase.
'Wings of Hazarika' is an airline restaurant owned by Hariprasanna Hazarika, a young Sivasagar businessman.
