large amount of Burmese supari on Tuesday.

sacks of Burmese supari were seized.

in connection with the seizure.

color:black">A mini truck carrying 40 sacks of smuggled Burmese Areca nuts was
seized earlier yesterday in Assam's Cachar district.
color:black">According to sources, the areca nut bags were smuggled from
Mizoram and covered with 'Kaji' lemons to conceal the sacks.
The areca nuts seized are
thought to be worth several lakhs. In connection with the seizure, two people
have been arrested.
