Digital Desk: At least 7 people were killed and 15 others wounded as a massive fire broke out at a high-rise building in Mumbai near Bhatia Hospital early morning on Saturday.  According to initial reports, the fire started at 7:30 a.m. on the eighth floor of the Kamala Building in Nana Chowk, Tardeo. It has been classified as a Level-3 (large) fire by the Mumbai Fire Brigade. Thirteen fire trucks are on the site to put out the fire and five ambulances to transport any injured people to the hospital. Unfortunately, doctors pronounced two of the victims dead upon arrival, while the other three succumbed to their injuries later. The other two appear to be in good health. A total of fifteen people were injured and taken to the nearby Bhatia Hospital. According to a doctor, three victims are in critical condition, while the others are being treated in the general ward. One person died as a result of their injuries. Two further casualties were admitted to Kasturba Hospital, one of whom died later. The cause of the massive fire is yet to be known. Firefighting and rescue operations are still underway.
