Digital Desk: Terrorists shot at two migrant workers in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag on Tuesday, police said.

The injured, Akshay (20) and Saurav (20), were taken to a hospital and are said to be in stable condition. Both hailed from Maharashtra's Sangli.

According to police, the area was cordoned off and a search operation has been launched.

"Terrorists fired upon two outside labourers in Anantnag. Both the injured civilians have been shifted to a hospital, where they are stated to be stable. The area is being cordoned off for a search operation. Further details shall follow," the Kashmir Zone Police wrote on its Twitter handle.

The latest incident occurred on July 13, when terrorists opened fire on three non-local laborers in the Gagren area of the Shopian district.
