Assam police officers will be honoured with the Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG)...
Digital Desk: On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, eight Assam police officers will be honoured with the Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG) and thirteen state police officers will be honoured with the Police Medal (PM) for Meritorious Service on August 15.
The list of police officers that will receive PMG is as follows:
1. Prakash Medhi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. SP)
2. Sub-Inspector (SI) Latuk Da
3. Sub-Inspector (SI) Ritujyoti Nath
4. Prakash Sonowal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP)
5. Sub-Inspector (SI) Mwblik Brahma
6. Constable Semson Taro
7. Constable Joy Kiri Teron
8. Constable Nabajyoti Roy
Meanwhile, the 13 police personnel who will be honoured with Police Medal (PM) for Meritorious Service are:
