Digital Desk: Three residents from Assam have made it to the television show MasterChef India. The show debuted on Sony Entertainment Television on January 2.
 
Assam's Nazia Sultana, Nayanjyoti Saikia, and Santa Sarmah have advanced to the show's televised round.
 
Nazia Sultana, 33, is a homemaker from Guwahati. Sultana prepared savoury Japanese pancakes that the chefs enjoyed on the first episode of the show.
 
Nayanjyoti Saikia, 26, of Tinsukia, works in a tea garden with his father and enjoys cooking. He has a social media presence where he displays his artwork. 
In the first episode, he made a dessert.
 
Santa Sarmah, 34, a homemaker, began cooking at the age of eight and cooked three types of sushi for the judges. Her episode will be broadcasted on January 4th.
Garima Arora, Ranveer Brar, and Vikash Khanna are the judges for the new season of MasterChef India.
