Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former CM Kamal Nath expressed grief over the incident.

Digital Desk: At least four students died and 11 others were injured after a tempo collided with a truck in the Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh.

The incident took place on Monday in the Hatai Palki area of the district.

According to reports, the injured were taken to three private hospitals and one health facility in Nagda. However, four died in a private hospital in Ujjain while undergoing treatment.

Notably, the injured were reportedly pulled out of the vehicle with the help of a rope by the villagers.

It is to be noted that on Monday morning, the tempo driver picked up the students attending two convent private schools from Hataipalki hamlet. The students in the tempo were from the classes of VI and VIII.
