Digital Desk: In a tragic incident, a severe fire broke out at the Delhi Police Training School in Wazirabad, North Delhi, during the early hours, causing extensive damage to the facility. 

The blaze, reported at 12:16 am, prompted the swift response of eight fire tenders from the Department of Delhi Fire Services.

Firefighting efforts commenced immediately, but the fire escalated, necessitating additional support from nearby fire stations. The inferno engulfed the Police Training School, resulting in the destruction of approximately 200 four-wheelers and 250 two-wheelers stored on the premises.

Authorities, battling the flames, gained control around 4:15 am, with eight vehicles from the Department of Delhi Fire Service actively involved in the operation. The origin of the fire, confined to the storage area holding old vehicles, remains unclear, prompting an ongoing investigation by the local police station.

Despite the extensive damage, the Department of Delhi Fire Services reported no casualties, providing a silver lining amid the aftermath of this devastating incident.
